Stomping Ground. I created a large-scale interactive 3D soundscape at Berlin Kraftwerk, alongside collaborators Odysseas Constantinou and artist Anne de Vries, with technology company Usomo Sound. Commissioned as part of Tresor 31: Techno, Berlin und die große Freiheit.
“STOMPING GROUNDS, a 1:1 replica made from sand of the giant gold vault, underneath the Jewish-owned Wertheim building which — after a turbulent history, and the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989 — became the cradle of techno music from Detroit, Chicago, UK and of course Germany.”
Blinkist sound design. With more than 14 million users, Blinkist is an app that inspires people to keep learning by taking the key ideas from non-fiction books into audio experiences that you can listen to in 15-20 minutes.
In these blinks to A Short History of Nearly Everything, sound cues are carefully composed and structured around the text to reinforce the message. In this case, I executed the entire audio stage, including editing, sound design, supervising the script, and post-production.
